On the eve of WW II with his radio statement "We've been firing back since 5:45 an!!!" he not only lied about who was actually firing "back" (Poland was), but also about the time: Acts of war had begun at 4:45 am, one hour earlier. Hitler, a (very) late riser by nature, didn't have much experience with early morning hours - other than going to bed during them!
