I normally don't do this, but the response to this thread on TB is just awesome.

I suspect if the tort guard doesn't help, the problem is in the distal phalanx  ;)

that's got to be the answer - I'm sure Reggie expressed that in a PM to the OP.

Gotta love it.  :)  Wonder if he'll come back to the thread.

He says he's a Fender guy but if he thinks a passive p/j setup with a switchable active preamp is a "super modern" sound, then I doubt it.

It probably just needs a new strap.  :P   Yeah, that's the ticket.

I bet he's running scared and won't reply to Hamilton.

Note also that his join date is December...it's probably his first, most ignorant post.

I'm laying odds that he can out-ignorant himself in no time - he's certainly in the right place.
I love his first comment "sounds great", but it's entitled "hate the tone"

Those are his only two posts.

That fits in very well with being a Fender guy who doesn't like the tone of a Fender.

Reggie H., the alleged LaBella endorser, only plays Fender strings (made by D'Addario) except on his double bass and ABG. You live and learn. Of course, with a Fender signature model named after you, a Fender string endorsement won't earn you anything.
