Return To Fantasy!  I used to wear that one out.  I really liked "Beautiful Dream" on that one.

Return to Fantasy, Wetton's first with UH after the lackluster Wonderworld

I've heard several Heep fans being underwhelmed by Wonderworld.  I guess it's all about circumstances.  When my oldest bro went into the service, he took most of his music with him - he left a few 8-tracks behind, including Wonderworld (he was one of the underwhelmed).  I remember being 15 or so working on an old beater motorcycle in the garage playing that over and over again.  Too greasy/lazy to swap out with J. Geils' Bloodshot (one of the other 8-tracks left behind).  It grew on me.

I agree that Return to Fantasy was a fresh change when it arrived and was one of the first albums I ever bought with my own money.  Gary Thain was amazing to me, and I was curious how I'd like John Wetton on bass. I also remember this Episcopalian priest that used to give me piano lessons for like $10 a pop seeing that album cover in the living room and pointing out the nudity.

Nice room!  The only thing missing is the mirror with the grooves etched into the bottom!  nudge nudge wink wink

We should try to name all the albums....

I think my old band did "Return To Mystery" from that album.  We did one song, for sure.

UFO - Lights Out
Traffic - Rock and Roll Fantasy (?)
Ian Hunter - You're Never Alone With a Schizophrenic
Yes - Fragile
The Clash - London Calling
Telling tales of drunkenness and cruelty

I see a Rainbow cover! One of the posters behind the sofa is from either "Dark Side of the Moon" or "Wish You Were Here". I loved the way "Pink Floyd" was separated out into pairs of letters on that poster.

Wow. You guys know your old rock albums. I'll be really impressed (or 'umbled) if you guys can name every album from those two pictures.
There are a couple of odd ducks in there and a couple pretty well hidden by the light mount.

Yeah, the DSoTM album came with 2 posters. The blocked Pink Floyd poster that you pointed out and the Pyramid poster (you can see it on the wall over the wall unit from the "drum kit" shot).  There's a few Rainbow albums up there.  What a great band (with many iterations) they were.

I also see:
"Who's Next"
"Never Mind The Bollocks"
"Frampton Comes Alive"
Several REM covers
"Born To Run"
"LA Woman"
"Bad Co"
'Abbey Road"
"Greetings From Asbury Park" (I think)
The one in the second photo, under "Abbey Road" and to the right of "Demons and Wizards" is driving me crazy! I KNOW what it is, I just can't place it!
