Star Trek -- Happy in Paraguay
« on: December 05, 2009, 10:52:22 PM »

Saw this today and nearly spit coffee all over my laptop.  There is some foul language, but it's worth it.

I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff ;D. I've got an old buddy who used to have tons of clips from old classic movies that somebody redubbed with some hilarious comments. The voices were so in sync with the lip movement it was near impossible to tell they were overdubbed. We spent a lot of hours watching this stuff over cocktails etc. and laughing our asses off. It must take an ungodly amount of time to do this kind of stuff but I love it ;D

I'm sure I'd be amused if I could understand anything they were saying.  Scotty was easier to understand in the episode where he got drunk on green stuff.

Aye laddie, the hame o' the dip fried Mars-bar...

"Translating "Glasgae o' a Sat'day nicht" is an artform all of it's own...  :o

"It's a brae bricht, moonlicht, nicht the noo..." crudely translates as "It's a fine moonlit night"

"Awa' gettie-f'-ya-bassa...!" translates as... best not go there...

Here's a slightly different one, it should appeal to fans of classic cinema and Sponge Bob.
