same ash is the new owner. this may be old news to some but the first i've heard of it.

Sam Ash has owned Manny's for years. Since around 1999-2000. I remember reading something late last year that the issue was the terms of a renewal of their lease.

So, will they take the Hendrix "thanks Manny's" picture down and change it to say "Sam Ash?"

Isn't the original Sam Ash store across the street from Manny's? And hasn't it been around even longer?

I do wonder what they'll do with the memorabilia.
