yeah, I know Dave.  I just think it's an overstated problem.  to hear some guys talk about it, you'd think the sky is falling.  not on this board so much, but other places.

As I've mentioned many times, I come from the house of Fender unto the spector of the evil neck diving Gibophone bass. I really dont have a problem with the basses I own or have tried so far.  I have been made aware that some of the older Gibsons had very bad neckdive due to the tuners and a few other issues. But so far I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

As you can see in the pics from the Crocs show of last week that Explorer is quite a balanced bass. I think I look very comfortable playing it. It certainly felt comfortable and they are supposed to be one of the prime offenders as I understand it.

The two worst neck divers I've had were a Fender Coronado II and a Guild JS-II. Both long gone from the scene.

My RD and PC both tend to head for "Gods Own Country", Brett...  ;)

Doug... only 26 frets...! should have at least held out for 30...  ;D  btw, I found that T but have not had the time to check the "size", I'll PM the measurement across the chest and if you want, it will be on its way... if not, it goes to eBay...

Yeah, Warwicks Custom shop was unwilling to make it a 30 fret bass. I also asked to put some frets between the bridge and the bridge pick up, but that wasn't an option either.

I'm quite busy today, but I'll check your PM ASAP!
