Nice piece of rosewood on this bass, nice bass as well. You dont see a lot of really nice rosewood fingerboards since the ban on Brazilian Rosewood.

Is that original? I've never seen a Thunderbird board that looked like that. Nice bass. I'm pretty sure it's been up recently but don't remember if that's the same seller.

From the price, I think the seller thinks it's a 1956 Thunderbird - the Ford version. But I don't get "vintage" Gibson or Fender prices.

Does any one elsa think the serial number looks funny? Like an inked number was applied over a stamped number. Shouldn't it have a stamped number anyway?
