I always leant more towards Spring Surprise, or maybe Anthrax Ripple...  ;)

It obviously croaked in the freezer.

... and if that didn't finish the poor little critter (as some can survive extreme cold, going into torpor or some-such) the microwave wouldn't have done him any good, either...  ;D

Maybe it was a promo item for a new animated movie, but the Princess and the Fetuccine just didn't work out, so in went our hero - moviestardom was just not meant to pea...  ;)
