On my watch list.  I'd grab it now, but I'm headed for Florida for a week soon.

Your comment reminds me of a joke I have to post. It's in this months Q Magazine (British pop mag). The quote is of Dutch actress Carice van Houten, who features in the new Tom Cruise film Valkyrie about Von Stauffenberg:

"What's the difference between oral sex and anal sex? One makes your day, one makes yor hole weak. I guess you have to say that out loud."

Carice is quite a character. In a Dutch interview she said that she called Cruise 'Fatty' the whole time while making the movie. 'Come on, dance, Fatty!'  In an interview in an American magazine (I believe Vanity Fair) she gave the English speaking world a new word: Sunday's Child. In Dutch 'zondagskind' means something like having all the luck in the world, never having to worry about things, ...

Your insight is impeccable Chris however I am afraid Uwe is slipping into the decadence most of us have already succumbed to! LMAO. ;) ;)

But, a nice 91 LP ice cream cup three knobber on the evil bay = so far is reasonable!

I doubt it will go much higher, long scale LPs hardly ever do, especially after they brought out that faded last limited edition shortly before they consigned LP basses to the Gibson museum. Those early three knobbers are fine basses, I have one just like that. This one looks in great condition save for those nasty scratches. Did someone with a spiked wristband slap on the poor thing or what?  ???

Decadence, who, me?

Uwe

I misread his response at first. I thought it said "moist satisfying." That's almost redundant.  ;)

I'm European in that way: Let it grow. I waited too desperately long to at least have some hair grow - man, it took ages - to show off in the shower room after PE to now have it removed with other people!

"Shag carpet"   - that is as good as the legendary "donut bumper"-quip. Dave never disappoints.  :rimshot:

Hey, thats the twin of my 92. is that the original case? i've never seen a rectanglar Gibson case. i use a Ripper case. i paid $360 for it 2 years ago(the bass not the case)

i think the case was on a totally different auction but there is a black case on auction now. i got a black  LP case last fall off the bay for 60$ plus shipping on a BIN.

i am a bit hesitant to type the words p__k and br__n too many times even if i am chatting about a bass case = it gets the troopies too excited!

superstar might think i invited her to a house of decadence and debauchery! lol
