Title: Today's Bass Lesson
Post by: 66Atlas on November 09, 2016, 11:27:41 AM
"Never turn your back on a puppy"

While packing up my '67 Bird this morning (for rehearsal this evening) I briefly looked away only to turn back and see this monster chewing on the headstock.

Don't be fooled by his innocent looks, I suspect he has a heart of darkness lurking within.  Luckily the damage was minimal and I'll have to just chalk it up to added "relic-ing"

Awwwwwwww......

And there's this: you knew he was a puppy when you left him unattended.....  ;)

They're quick little guys when you don't expect it, aren't they??

Its true, I think the little guy has light speed given how fast he can be on the other side of the room chewing on a shoe!

Looks both innocent and remorseful to me.

He's remorseful because he realizes he's displeased Daddy.

I still have a rocking chair and a stereo bench that my Shadow chewed on back in 1984 when she was a pup. It brings back warm memories now.

Luckily it was only a few chew marks, and the bass was far from perfect so I wont sweat the signature puppy look that the headstock now has.  On the plus side he seems to be learning a lot from our 6 year old beagle so training has been relatively pain-free thus far!

I used to have a tame LoveBird. It went with me everywhere. It always bit small v-shape holes in books. He's gone for almost 20 years but sometimes I open a book and see a little v-shaped bite:)
