Titanic II - no, not a joke...
« on: May 04, 2013, 03:05:18 PM »
If it all goes to plan a life size and slightly adjusted (Chinese built) replica of the Titanic will set sail for New York from Southampton; hopefully the Gods will not be displeased nor affronted...

Whoa!  He looks like a pretty big boy to be doing too many Irish Jigs without a Physician in his pocket.

With the way they are losing ice up there there might be somewhat more of them on the loose, too...

Mind you, I'm going to hazard a guess that radar might replace the bod in the crows nest, and they might not mislay the binnies this time - at least they plan to carry the requisite number of life rafts this time, and remember that communication is a little bit better these days...

I have no doubt that they will be shadowed the whole way, too...

Reminds me of this oldie: what's the difference between Madonna and the Titanic? Only 1300 men went down on the Titanic.

... Only 1300 men went down on the Titanic.

That was jolly gentlemanly of you, Dave, discounting her the remaining 52... ;)

What's the difference between Bill Clinton and the Titanic? We know how many women went down on the Titanic.

At the time of Clinton's scandal, a new cigar came on the market called The Big Lewinski. The marketing hype said that only Monica knew the true ring size.

How humidore you, Dave!

Monica brings her stained dress to the old Chinese drycleaner. Not understanding her that well, the old man perks an ear and asks: "Come again?"

"No, just mustard", Monica says.
