Remember the 59 sunburst banjo head EB-2 I bought on Ebay many moons ago. With the defect pup, possibly a neck reset and a less than inconspiciously repaired horizontal headstock fissure. Pup has been rewound and I've had her strip for me (pic from my luthier, haven't seen her in actual beauty yet):

Wow! That looks fantastic Uwe.
Gratuliere :toast:

Nice! I love the looks of a natural blonde.

Always had a soft spot for blonds, especially natural ones.Makes me want to work on my starfire. Congrats Uwe

She's purdy. Call her Liesl or Gretl or some other nice Bund Deutscher Mädel-sounding name.
-
And one black plastic pickup at the neck... that's all you need. ;)
Your luthier is slow but sure.

Nice!!!

Yup nice looking bass, love the sound of those too.

Very nice looking. Though it seems like it should be easy, stripping a burst finish off can be a headache.
-
don't actually remember this.... perhaps it was in one of those weeks that I had work to do rather than time to kill. Was the sunburst a refin? Why did you strip it?
Are there any before pics for all of us who were not paying attention first time :-[
