I've played one in a store. Looked nice but did not have the EB-1 sound.

Price of this one looks high to me, IIRC the one I played was well below that.

Yeah, I have to admit I got taken in by the looks - I didn't really think about the sound. Thanks for the corrective. (I have a fretless Rickenbacker on my mind, so I never even considered this Univox for myself...)

I'm a real Univox fan, but I agree that it's overpriced.

I'd still love an original... I'm still unlikely to get the spare readies...

I don't think I've ever seen a fretless Ricky...
