love em, thanks for the links. I have one sovjet bass already in my collection but that one needs to be fully restored.

From what I've read about most Soviet guitars, especially on the Cheesy Guitars site, the prices seem way high if you're expecting a playable bass or guitar. OTOH the value as oddball collectibles might be about right to someone.
