Herb Remington has passed at age 92. He was still building non-pedal steels until very recently.

A friend posted it on FB. I haven't seen anything official but I found this thread at the steel guitar forum.

He (Mr. Remington) does a couple tunes with Ms Cashdollar on "Slide Show"...very smooth playing.

I love how he does all the harmonized solo lines...
