1978 Renaissance Lucite bass (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAISSANCE-LUCITE-BASS-1978-SMOKED-EXTREMELY-RARE-THUNDER-BASS-TONES-GREAT-/111300854740?pt=Guitar&hash=item19ea0c43d4)
This may be rare (never heard of the brand before) and it's not in Wish territory, but...
Pricey (imho) too ...

I never cared for the looks of the original clear, either. At least that one is smoked black.
-
I think I've seen the clear ones
sell listed for 5-700 US. Unless something has changed in the last couple years to make them suddenly more valuable the price is a wee-bit high :o Sometimes rare does not equal valuable.
And it's kinda ugly IMHO.

I bid on a black/smoked one years ago, and think I maxed out somewhere in the $600-range. It sold for $700-something.
Not a fan of the clear bodies, but I like the black and the quirky shape- hints of the Ovation Magnum-1/2 (had one of those as well).
My GAS for this is gone, but I will say that I LOVE the sound of those pickups. I'd rather have 'em in a BC Rich, though... (or something else made of wood)

It has a kind of a blob thing going on. Like it's searching to find its' shape, but unlike Dave, I will be a bit more kind and give it a fugly.5 , maybe a fugly .6.

It's SMF ugly.
-
I actually quite like the body shape. But it looks like the strings and pickups go a mile above the surface of the body, which I would hate.
Also, I've never liked the look of creme-colored pickups, nor dual P pickups,.

Doubleplusfugly.
... with bells on...

Any pictures of one that hasn't melted?

This is the same seller that has the $19,000 Ampeg Devil Bass and had the crazy overpriced white Tbird IV that was discussed here last year. All of his prices are insane.
-
He seems to add an extra zero to all his prices
