I'll be surprised if anyone does. Although they are rare, they aren't the most desirable of the vintage Ampegs.

very rare. but priced too high. Was a decent SS bass in its day but always looked like a toy and never got much attention. there was a fretless one on feebay about 2 months ago. I have a Bruce Johnson reissue that i bought form Saltymonkey last year and it really sounds huge. His redesign fixed most of the shortcomings of the original and it is a great bass. Quarter pounder encased in black epoxy pup sounds great with the flats. Very motownish but with more man parts. 2 octave neck also so it uses regular strings and nut sits out further to loose the toy feel IMHO. And a great finish and tough not like the ampegs... I have tried to convince him to make these but as of now he has made the original 5 and thats it.. sitting next to Bruce AEB # 70
