Just had news that Motorhead have had to cancel their Euro tour rescheduled dates, so that's two tours cancelled back-to-back...

Lemmy has diabetes and a pacemaker now fitted, has reputedly stopped smoking, and trying to cut the spirits and soft drinks out by substituting it with two bottles of wine a day...

Lemmy must also demonstrate the path of moderation in order to keep spreading the gospel of rock and roll. He really FEELS his role as "Godfather of Rock/Metal" and gives pieces of fatherly advice between songs during shows and has since the 90's. Give up to him; he's the real deal, and being real means that he is still as human as the rest of us, but he is also Lemmy.

I hope his health improves, but two bottles of wine a day is cutting back? Life catches up even to the best of us. One of the nicest "stars" I have ever meet. I wish him the best.

His manager talks about the sugar content of the wine but that sure isn't the only problem. Some people build up a huge tolerance to alcohol with little outward effect but two bottles a day is doing a number on his insides.
