I'm caring for an orphaned single pup Greco bird

After buying a rare single pup Greco bird from this very forum a few years ago that was an absolutely marvellous bass, and then regretting selling it, I've been constantly pining for another ever since.  So yesterday I hit the BIN on a broken headstock example from a Japanese eBay seller, so in a week or so I'll get to find out if the break is an easy "glue and clamp" repair as the photos on ebay suggest.  I'll keep you posted.

The price was around half what I'd expect to pay for an intact example without a hard case, so I think I did ok.

Are you going to do the repair?  That looks like a good candidate to cut your teeth on.  Looks like the finish touchup wouldn't be bad either...

Yes, this will be my DIY project.  And some minor finish repairs is also on the agenda.
