Title: Lotsa chrome and mahogany but still....

Saw this Ibanez in the BP I got in the mail yesterday.  The blurb in BP says that it has a mahogany neck and body but Ibanez' site clearly shows a bolt on maple neck.

And, fellow Chromlings forgive me :'(, but the giant chrome bridge is just too much ;) nevermind that it's chromed!  Sorry but the bridge reminds me of the fugly Traben bridges. ::)

This is still nice to see, chrome, mahogany and a retro 60's vibe in the NRish, Decade, Jaguar vibe.  I just don't know if I could live with the bridge....

We did discuss this earlier: http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=80.0

I see from a google search that InstrumentPro (http://www.instrumentpro.com/P-IBAJTKB200.html) is showing these at $350.

I've seen them at Frankfurt. I believe they had information cards with mahogany body (which is quite interesting for a Fender-is bass), maple neck and rosewood board.

Bridgeplate is too biig, but nice basses.
