She recommends dating the bassist (http://www.independent.com/news/2014/nov/19/dating-musician-i-recommend-bass-players/)  :)

I certainly value the opinion of those here, and I suspect we can agree that we are great people!

You can't argue with science. And this forum of forums is all about scientific evidence.

"And the strings are rope-thick, which gives bass players strong fingers, and we’ll just leave that right there."

I need to practice finger playing in triplets more. The alternatives of application seem endless.

But hark. What is that intriguing breed on the right?

LMAO.  That writer is hilarious.  This is a very witty article.

I need to practice finger playing in triplets more. The alternatives of application seem endless.

And when the triplets do the work, you add the thumb - that's when the magic starts!

Once the thumb comes into use, then you tend to find people employ slapping...

I'll continue to rock, hard...

It's about time someone came forward with all this!  Love it.   8)

Hard to take anything seriously when written by someone named "Starshine Roshell."  :)

Her father was in "Hair."  She was named after the song "Good Morning Starshine."  She is a journalism instructor who, evidently, has won several awards.  (I spent a few moments on Google to investigate.)

Ages since I last saw this film, but the quote "that is all you need to know" holds deep truths!

Ages since I last saw this film, but the quote "that is all you need to know" holds deep truths!

The scary part is that I haven't seen that film since its first run, and I still knew the quote word for word. I drive my co-workers nuts with movie quotes.

Did anyone here see this past Sunday's Simpsons?

Homer decides to become a bass player in a cover band - Funniest Simpsons EVER!

Here's a trailer, the whole episode is on YT as well. Note all the Gibbies hanging on the wall at "Guitar Central" (LOL) even a lefty Firebird!
