Very nice work, thanks for the pictures.  I bought Benedetto's archtop book and it really does show you how to do this.  Your pictures are a nice addition!

You musn't say that!! I am ahem, between jobs, and I go everyday almost. Sometimes for 6-7hrs. Oranges and apples. Plus I have a luthier(a real one ) breathing fire down my neck when need be..
If you were able to devote the same time to your project it would be done, I am sure. A d it will look just as beautiful if not more. So none of that!!!

I agree, Rob shouldn't think any less of his own project. Still, this is really ambitious for a first project and it's looking great. Also, while it sucks being between jobs, it's nice that you can devote your time to this.

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I just continues to get better!  Thanks for the pictures and good luck on the job thing.

Looking great!
I love the layered laminate on the back of the headstock, classy!
Nothing is what it seems but everthing is exactly what it is.

Enough of my 6 banger already!! The following is being built by Ed's student that preceded me (he already built his pre-requisite archtop guitar, which is damn nice BTW.
