I was cleaning up some stuff in the shop I just won't have time to get to and tossed a few victims onto eBay. I was polishing the 90's LP Deluxe bass husk I've had for awhile, thinking maybe I'd put that up. But after getting her cleaned up, I realized it would only take an hour or two to install the electronics and hardware and she'd be playable. The neck's not as beefy as I remembered, So, that might be the next thing I do as soon as I have a little time. It has 5 -6 pretty deep dings, but it has a sort of vintage visual vibe as a result. Not pristine by any means. But a decent looking bass and a bit lighter than its other LP bass brothers.

I'll keep that in mind!

That is indeed a pretty nice looking bass - which is the norm for instruments that have passed through the hands of Dr. Bassman.

Love my LP. Keep it!

I just can't decide! I go back and forth with myself and it's hard to hang onto stuff. I'm so fickle!

All I need is tuners! That's a beautiful bass. I guess I'll get in line just in case. :)

It's an excellent candidate for some Thunderbuckers in different covers and Scott's bridge.
-
Maybe even a pair of Filtertrons.

Rebuild and gig/rehearse... then decide...

Yeah, I just ordered the parts I need to finish it. I'm gonna fill the dings too. Band practice will tell me something about its character. I'll use one set of my TB Plus pups in it.

Worry about the dings if you want to sell, (unless they are neck and just niggle) - just breathe the life back into her first - don't voodoo the mojo...

Yeah, you got a point. Maybe I can have it together before next weekend.

Yeah, she doesn't eat much and never wants to go on Europeam vacations! 8)
