Beshear in KY and Dewine in Ohio actually became leaders, and did mostly the right things.  You can disagree with their politics, but they did right by the people of their states. I'm working from home in KY...

My daughter lives in Madrid.

Scares the crap out of me right now...

yes.

The placement is closer to the bridge, though. Neck pickup on the EB tends to woof a little bit more (more sub-lows).

Agreed with the above...except...

I find the coil tap to be not particularly useful...the double coil mode has a very useful mid-range bump for cutting through the mix...and this is pretty much from a Fender guy...

It does get a very pure bass sound that sits very well in the mix. Love it so far. Specially the short scale.

I have the third through maybe 6 or 7 Soft Machine Albums...

Used to have 1 and 2, also...always interesting musically...

So far I really like the 3 point...except the part where the saddle falls out when you are changing strings...that is maddening.

Motown will teach you how to be a better player. Fewer notes, all dropped in exactly the right place.

Play the pocket. It's almost like meditation.

I would like to hear an "All Things Must Pass"  naked...Like "Let it Be" naked

Lety it Be is a fine album with all the shit removed. I imagine All Things Must Pass is also.

Mine is very comfortable.  Makes it hard to want to play the 5 string. Maybe I'll go back to 4. I still really like my EPI T Bird Pro, also. I do find the short scale ot the Les Paul some how "eases" the automatic mind-body connection with bass...I e. easier to play without having to think about it too much.

I always try to keep an instrument original unless, say a tuner is broken, or doesn't work.

I saw them several years back. They are nothing like the Allmans. They are a category unto themselves...

Just listened to the cut...going to Amazon right now.

Ok...gig report...

In a big room (200+bar) it sounded really good.

Much less "woof" than my 2013 EB, probably due to pickup spacing.  Was a true plug and play kind of experience. Noticeably more "Fenderish" due to the pickup being in the sweet spot, I guess. More fun to play than the 5 string, also. Much lighter, also.

Still need the 5 string for some tunes in the keys that we do them in...

Very happy overall.

Agreed about setup

Harmonics were close

Just had to tighten the rod a bit and lower the bridge a tad.

Didn't have to touch the nut...
