Just to add something more on the 335 bass.  I love mine too.  It sounds great.  Strong ballsy bass tone, great output.  The pups are fine in mine.  Just wish it were short scale   .
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

Nice!

If I was not already involved in building, I could easily see buying a 335 bass.

I played a 335 guitar in my original band in the 90s, so it would have a sentimental appeal for me.

One day soon I will likely build a "339" bass with a 32" scale neck.

the Hendrix line is old news? Two years ago? And already stopped because of massive critics?

Hey, the neck plate says Authentic Hendrix, what more evidence do you need that it's correct as-is?  :P

So Gibson announces a Hendrix Strat. The whole guitar world hates it, is against it, forums are full of rants against it, so they don't get it into production. And two years later they do exactly the same again?

That's stupid. A donkey never hits the same stone twice.

And btw: Hendrix was a keen Gibson user.

I hope those autographs on the headstock are done by hand by Hendrix himself.

If Warwick copycats Jack Bruce's EB-3 and calls it their Jack Bruce Signature model then anything is allowed! Last I heard, Jack used Warwicks during his Cream days only intermittently.  ???

The Felix Pappalardi signature?

Why not, he had a connection with Cream and he didn't play a Warwick either.  :P
