I remember watching the 1970 Woodstock documentary when I was a teenager and well remember his performance. It sticks with you. RIP, Richie.

He was great. I met him when I was 17 at Berklee. He listened patiently to my thoughts on the evolution of the counter culture and it's philosophies and then he signed my ball cap. Heaven will be getting a beautiful soul.
