Tony Franklin~Freakshow & Wonderland

Good to know that Tony is doing something besides waiting for a Blue Murder or FIRM reunion, but it seems he's really dumbed down his playing in this band Freakshow:

The singer sounds annoying to me, like if you put all the 80s glam band singers in a blender & hit cliche frappe.

In other news, Tony's WONDERLAND cd is WONDERFUL, available only as an IMPORT from Japan.
Tony's playing is amazing on this disc!

Two thirds of Blue Murder---Tony Franklin & Carmine Appice---are Rhythm Section Extraordinaire on this project Guitar Zeus:
They have worked with a number of great axmen on this project which is getting released (or is it RE-RELEASED?) as a Double CD!!

I think it's available today but not sure since they've posted a few different dates.

I saw Franklin with one of the more recent Whitesnake incarnations. Yup, he's an impressive player and managed to get himself heard even in Whitesnake. That is a band where other good bass players such as Rudy Sarzo and Colin Hodkinson failed to do just that.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...
