NBD: Joining the dark side of the force

I had an unexpected new bass day a couple of weeks ago. After lusting after the Blackbirds for many years, I finally was able to take the plunge...
I've known and occasionally handled this particular bass for about two years, and always liked the way it sounded and played. I think its voice is unique enough to justify its keep among my two other birds - the Bach NR with TB+, and (my favorite) the '76 w/re-wired parallel sidewinders:
Many thanks to Andy for this bass! (...and to Baz for giving him a reason to sell it)

Congratulations Joe!
That should probably just be sent up here to Seattle for safe keeping

Glad that it went to a good home, and that I will still get to play it occasionally
I really loved this bass and I know you will as well.
