Title: Dano-drop
Post by: chromium on March 07, 2013, 09:14:44 PM
During the ritual search for stuff I don't need, I stumbled across this...

Kind of cool looking!  I am a lefty, but can't play lefty to save my life... and so any potential GAS has been averted for now.

Looks like something Vox from the mid-late 60s.

It's a pretty thing for sure. There's a lefty violin bass on eBay right now with a Dano neck...

the ritual search for stuff I don't need

During counseling for this type of behavior, the first thing my therapist said to me was "Stay away from the LBO!"  ;)

And then you told him how many more basses you could buy if you stopped spending so much money on a therapist.  :)

I went to my doctor; I said, "doctor, it hurts when I do this" (waves).

The doctor said "Don't do that!" (waves)

Amen.  Re-used by Alan King to good effect as well.

And I like the Dano-Drop!!  Niiiiice!

I like that it combines my lust for a Vox Constellation and Dano Longhorn.  If it were righty, I could apply the "I'm saving money! ...buying only one bass instead of two" rationale.

Perfect Last Bass Outpost™ logic.  (Not valid in any other universe.)

Paging Ronn, the Eggman...?

Present!   Yep, right up my alley, if I wasnt still recovering from buying 2 Gibson basses in 2 months time that would be mine.

Sheesh... talk about a lightweight... ;)

... Jackie cured my GAS years ago - I was given clear scientific rules...

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction...
