Seasons greetings all
« on: December 19, 2008, 06:59:50 PM »
I'm off for the next 2 weeks to the west coast of South Australia (Home of the Great White Shark and the place where the desert meets the great southern ocean) to do some swimming with the Sea Lions (GWS's food source) and a gig NYE in Streaky bay ($500 each, to pay for my petrol and holiday  expenses  ).

Xmas here means Cherries, Leg Ham, Prawns and Oysters with an almost lethal dose of sunshine and heat. Not forgetting the Boxing day Test (a traditional 5 day game of cricket between Australia and whichever other country happens to be touring. This year its South Africa)

Thanks to all of you for making me feel comfortable and at home here this year. I really have enjoyed the last 7 months and the help, advice and general good attitude from you all has been an absolute pleasure.
I wish you all the best for the season and hope your New Year is exactly as you want it to be.

Cheers

Bret

Thanks John, opposite end of the country for the Jelly Fish thankfully. That would be simply unfair to have Great Whites and Box Jellies in the same place  ;)

Christmas in Seattle usually means rain...........
This year it's plenty of snow, cold and my family's German tradition  :)
Different but the same, all good.
