Title: Gibson NR round over

Yeah, I have a 1/8" and 1/4". I tried them on a scrap and the 1/8" is too small for my liking and the 1/4" is a bit larger than I'd like. I just found a 3/16" bit on sale and ordered that for a try. I'm not necessarily tying to replicate the NR, but I know what I like and the two bits I have aren't doing it for me.

Post by: godofthunder on February 26, 2014, 09:08:31 AM: Bill I have used 3/8" and 1/8". Most NRs are more like a 3/8" but the bass I have had since '77 is very close to a 1/8" hardly any round over at all.
