Ibanez-made Cimar Gibson Marauder copy.

Late Seventies, used but not abused, retrofitted with a Bigsby.

It also has retrofitted "tulip" tuners and a Bogus Gibson Logo.

But as expected from a Japanese made guitar it's a really nice instrument.

The "Gibson" on the headstock still needs some refinement I fear!

When I was young (many moons ago), Cimar stood for the better quailty Japanese stuff, not quite Ibanez, but almost. The fact that they actually were Ibanez (or made by them) already made the rounds then. One of the guitarists of my first band had a Cimar strat and was envied because of that.

I have a Cimar Jazz Bass in pieces. Nice black block maple neck, but a plywood body.
