Thanks!  I've relearned everything I used to know about finishing, a lot easier to get the right result now.  It helped to do 3 black basses at once.

Chris, I have two of Carlos basses and am scheming for another. I highly recommend him.

What's the price point on these? Or should I make inquiry on the website?

I prefer to discuss pricing thru the website email, jaebird@cataldobasses.com

Some are shocked at how much they cost these days, some pleasantly surprised.  My target for customer builds this year is 10.  I'm on track for that, hopefully it will give me the time to do some more experimentation.  A short scale 8 string is in the works and a 12er.  I have the necks for both and will post the builds when I get to them.  Just shipped ExplorerBird #2; next builds are a REV42, JAE42 and G8R41 (for Rex Diablo).

3 for me.  First black one,  modified white one and 5 string  NR seafoam green one.  all are (were?) on the cataldo  website.  They just sound awesome.   FWIW I normally play foderas but these babies play and sound tremendous.  Necks are great.
IMHO best deal out there.......

The NR and MAX are still up.  My photography has improved since #002 so it's been retired from the site.

Carlo, one of these days I'll get a good quality action pic of #004 so you can add me and it to the gallery.
Cheers
