Different kind of case, I know, but just goes to show that the "victim" may not be a victim.

Exactly. A few years ago a family member of mine did something really rash and stupid in the heat of a really contentious divorce. And while I don't excuse what he did, seeing how things were portrayed in the media and the public taught me to be very wary of making quick judgments ever again. The public story never came close to what was really going on. I get the same vibe off this whole thing that you do, Dave. Whatever happened, we haven't heard close to all of it.

There was something on the news as I was leaving for work that said someone is claiming that the kidnapper may have been the father to both children. It just keeps going and going.

DiMaggio's sister is requesting the DNA sample. Anderson's family spokesman says it's not possible, they didn't meet DiMaggio until the wife was already six months pregnant with Hannah, and that the father's DNA was used to positively identify the son's body. But who knows if that's true or not.
