The foreclosure thing was reported a while back (I think at least a year). Ace has said it was an oversight by his business managers (dropped the ball on mortgage payments). I have no idea whether that's true but if he still owns the house it's been a long foreclosure process.
The piece I read said some power lines were damaged and caught the roof on fire. Ace is living in LA these days and the same article said only a caretaker lives on the property now.
I guess my knowing all this means I'm still enough of a KISS nerd to keep up on the gossip but not so much that I have to report it when I do (not that that's why you did, Dave).
And at least the article you linked posted an actual picture of Ace and not Tommy Thayer!
