  Cool! That is certainly a decent price. If it were in my neck of the woods I'd go check it out :)

Do these tend to break at the headstock like I've seen Gibson guitars do? Any other common problems to look for on one of these? Its a 90 minute drive for me, any deal breakers on these I should ask about?

All I know about Gibsons is I like the looks!

All I know about Gibsons is I like the looks!

I haven't seen as many broken slotheads as most other Gibsons, the headstock angle isn't as extreme. The position of the tuners on a slothead adds a string angle on its own.

One problem I've seen on a few of them is a crack in the center web of the slothead.
