Paul Revere And The Raiders
« on: March 27, 2019, 09:46:48 AM »

Saw this video with an Epiphone bass front and center.  Looks weird though, like some kinda Embassy/Newport hybrid.  Is it just an Embassy with the neck pickup replaced with a Mudbucker?  Anyone know?  Video is kinda fuzzy.

AFAIK it was just a standard Embassy.

Fang is still around, occasionally playing as Fang & the Gang. The Embassy must be long gone, in all the pics I've seen of his current group he's either playing a J or his Vox Phantom. He's active on FB (Phillip Volk).

I think you're right.  It must have been the pickup cover that I was seeing.  With that fuzzy video, at first I thought it looked too big to be the standard T-bird pickup.

Off the rack Embassy.
