Gibson Basses / Replacement tuning keys for late-'60s EB-0

Retaining the originals is not an option since it has none.

How does this one look to you folks? Seems like it would be a nice instrument, but I feel the price is slightly high. I'm thinking since I can pick up a nice T-bird reissue around here for about 9 hundy, this one shouldn't be any more than that. My thinking could be all wrong though, of course, wouldn't be the first or last time. How much do these usually go for?

Gibson Basses / Sold my Newport bass yesterday
« on: August 29, 2014, 12:20:57 PM »It was a '63-'64, pretty good condition, mostly original, no breaks or major issues except a shrinking pickguard, and it would be better off with a neck reset. I'm kinda sad to see it go, but I hardly ever touched it. They're not making any more of 'em! Had it for over ten years, and it was my last short-scale. I think it went to a good home, anyway, and I can really use the money to help get my new motor together. Anyway, it is what it is. I tend to get a little melancholy after I sell off any cool stuff.
