A nice example of how things start to get fun in a global economic downturn. The vintage guitar and bass market has always been based on speculation and panic (of the "get it before you can't afford it" kind). And cool basses really got driven up by guitar collectors as opposed to bass players. Now that people are calling in their notes, and losing their shirts, it is becoming a buyers market with lots of panic - of the "sell it while you can get anything for it" kind. I think anyone would want this but what is it going to move at? There are more cool and rare guitars and basses going on the block every day. I don't have the scratch, and truth be told I am not really anxious to spend what I have on an old bass now. Unless it was $200.
