Ive had a Kala for several years and it is fun to play . Id love to look into some of those strings. I bet its a great improvement.

If this is the one with th Gibson covers on a single coil , I used  a SD Jaguar or Mustang single coil trimmed the bobin  so the covers fit. I also have some aluminum plates for pups  and possibly control plate .worked well

Absolutely

If you go back far enough (and not very far for most), all cultures, except for the ones with nutty dietary rules, ate every part of the animal, or made use of it in some way. It's only 'moderns' who consider anything they don't eat as strange.

I'll take a bowl of beef tripe cooked in tomato sauce any day vs a steak.
