This whole Post Rock movement reminds me a lot of minimalist Krautrock (that all of you dispise). I always wondered how one could really use a Double neck, guitar & bass combo as if you stop playing bass the bottom falls out. If you watch some of the other El Ten Eleven videos he plays both at the same time via tapping. I also like how the drums has to carry the band much like Lightning Bolt. I enjoy a good drummer as much as any instrument.



It's simple disposable "catchy hooks" music as much as Wolfmother or Vampire Weekend, has "x" amount od plays and your done with them.

I find it interesting the whole two player band movements such as Clatter, Lightning Bolt, White Stripes & now El Ten Eleven. When I was a teen a bar we hung out at had a one man band that played a Guitargon. Pretty entertaining.
