I asked my wife a Rickenbacker for my 50

I have since long time gas for a Fireglo Rick. I already have a jetglo but gas is gas so when my 50th birthday was close I asked for it

Happy birthday Salvatore!

I turned fifty the other day and I got a vacuum cleaner.  :o

Congrats on turning 50! Back when I turned 50, I paid way too much for this oddly figured 1966 EB0...………….

Wow.. can't remember seeing this before. That's just the wood, not the finish?

The mahogany was sort of figured, a friend of mine has one that's similar. I always thought that this was undesirable & used up on the low end basses instead of high end guitars.  I thought it was kind of cool. I ended up trading it towards my EB-4L.
