Welcome to the club, even if I'm about to leave the elite BaCHBird owner's guild...

Welcome! That red bass is sure looking good! I've got a blue one, but if I had had the choice, then I would have picked a red one. The blue one looks cool, but that red one sure looks hot!

This is the bass that got me into the Gibson thing. My 64 Embassy.Being a rick/jazz bass guy all my life,it opened up a whole new world for me.It has no neck dive and plays and sounds unreal.I've always loved the Gibson Tbird look especially and oddly enough, the non over the reverse. My Bach bird sounds almost identical to my Embassy.Scary close.Heres a couple of pics of my other basses i have. I havent taken a family photo yet.I keep adding on to the family so i havent done it yet. Got a 66 Jazz coming shortly

Having regained my '63 Embassy, I'm finding the BaCHBird a bit redundant.  I've decided to finally put a real pickguard on mine.  I have a repro coming, and just ordered the screws, and a set of white chick knobs for mine.

It's all good!  Email sent.  Be glad that this didn't morph into a discussion of anal sex.  It happens here.  More than it probably should.  We're an odd and accepting bunch of Gibson freaks.  Except for me.  I fly the Epi freak flag high.  Just ask Dave.   :toast:
