Besides Denis, what's everyone using for a case/gigbag?

I had an Epi T-bird case, but unfortunately it's not long enough for the NR.

Nope, an Epi T-bird case is at least an inch too short. In fact, none of the gig bags I have will work either. These suckers are around 51.5" long so you'll have to hunt. You'll have to find an Epi Explorer bass case (which is what I believe mine is), find a beat to hell original NR case (good luck) or order one from BaCH, which is what I think I will do soon.

Current Gibson cases can be modded to fit. Pull the material cut new foam and install. Piece of cake.

Wow, I am really happy the basses arrived safe and sound.
And most of all so incredibly fast! I sent them away monday!
It was the first time I ever sent a bass to the USA. And first time I ever used DPD.
Looks we have a winner.

And of course I am very glad you like your BaCHbirds so much.

Rob

I can't believe how fast either ! Thanks again Rob ! :toast:

I was just going to check my Gibson cases. Does anyone know if a Gibson dealer can order the current T-bird cases? Otherwise I'm searching ebay.

Denis- I'd love to get one their cases, but it just seems like a ton of money spent on the case AND shipping. Maybe Rob can give us a quote....

Scott's suggestion of a new Gibby case may be the way to go. Last time BaCH made these I think the cases were listed on the website but were not actually available. Maybe we bought them all!

I was in the kitchen playing the BaCH and suddenly remembered that with the thicker body on these the Epi case I modded for my black Bach won't work: not deep enough!

The modifications I made to mine probably cost me only $30 and the time and besides, it was a fun and cool project.

By the way, the two pickups sound like thunder!!!!

Congratulations all around. To Rob, as this way is going to be a lot smoother and faster than the direct ordering on the earlier run, and to all of you who got really nice looking basses. Whatever wood that is, it sure looks good with the trans-cherry finish.

BaCH does offer a very good case for these basses.
Brown croc print rectangular case with black plush on the inside.

I'll post pics later today.

Really beautiful basses you've got! I envy you! That red one, wow!
That body thickness, is it the same on all the new Bachbirds, or...?
Concerning cases, I bought a gigbag for my blue Bachbird a year ago. It's called Rockbag by Warwick. Though I wouldn't load it in a truck or trailer.

And that would fit a real Non-Rev as well, right? In that case I really like to have one. Where can it be ordered? Via the notorious Dutch middleman?

Not "as well". They're made especially for the BaCHbird.
So yes that mean it fits a NR Tbird.

Just send me an email or PM if you want one.
