The site isn't online yet. I'm still working on it.
The email address does work though.

That was my preferred as well and if one accidentally was substituted for a trans red, I wouldn't complain!

The first few BaCHbirds are on their way from Czechia to The Netherlands.
I expect them any day now. I'll keep y'all posted when they arrive.

In the meanwhile BaCH has revamped their site:

Sweet!
The pics of the back of the Honeyburst are terrific! Interesting, I didn't see the TH-2s on their revamped website. I wonder if we bought them all out already.

Did they go back to a thick body? That sunburst looks like it.

Today the first new BaCHbirds have arrived.
I gotta say they look awesome. I almost regret having to ship them to the USA in a few days. ;)

I noticed a few things
The wood looks like Sipo to me. Both body and neck. (so no veneer, no maple)
The saddles of the bridge are notched. The first series had unnotched saddles.
The pot knobs are black mirror caps. The first series had those metal knurled ones
The body is 37 mm. That is the accurate thickness.

Here's a few pics.

The TH-2 Transparent Red.
Beautiful wine red color finish where the grain shines through clear as glass

The TH-1 Honey Burst.
in the pics it tends to Tobaccoburst, but in reality it has more yellow in it so the Honey seems apt.

Regrets, what regrets?  :P

Can't wait!

PS: What's Sipo?
EDIT: Nevermind, looks to be a mahogany of some kind from the African family. Guessing it has similar tone characteristics? Mind plugging one in?  ;D
