Administrator, tell us, does finish influence weight?

And, yes, thin necks are for girls.

The total weight of the dried solids in any guitar finish would be only a few ounces, even if put on thick and not sanded.

If you took two basses with identical weight, brushed ten thick coats of paint on one and sprayed one thin coat of nitro on the other, you might find 3 or 4 ounces difference.

Yet Scott feels the difference! (crawling back under stone hurriedly in flight of the wrath of the mighty sawman ...)

He feels the difference from something, just probably not the finish.

It could be the finish or type of wood, the finish is thick. So her she is no pics no bass. First the box that scared me so.  :o  I have to get some longer wire to swap the tone and output jack.

What a beautiful bass! I never liked the the look of the few black NRs I saw over the years, but these are incredible. I don't know what changed, but I really like these. I hope they make more because I want a black one now!

I gotta say that the box I got was also pretty concave when it showed up, but the contents were just fine.

It's the "custom made warped box from Czechia"®
It protects that weird oversized tilted headstock.

Never having the pleasure to see an orig in person,I was taken back by the size of the headstock on The BaCH. Like my former Ripper it fits me well. I gotta swap out and move the pots, strap button etc.
