Does anyone have a link to specs for this (60 pages is a lot to troll through).
Are they made in the Czech Republic, or ?
I wonder if he'd do a 2 p/u version...

Thanks!
JM

Rob (Basvarken) may have specs, AFAIK there's nothing published.

They are made in the Czech republic, I think the hardware and pickups are Korean.

This project has taken over 2 years and is far from over. There are no special orders, and all the present production is spoken for. But who knows, somewhere down the line they may offer it as a regular production item and might offer a two-pickup option.

It's a remake of the Gibson Non Reverse Thunderbird II.
Mahogany body with set neck (also mahogany) Rosewood fret board.

The pickup is an Artec AlNiCo humbucker with bar magnets.

So far BaCH made two series: in total there's 30 whites, 10 black ones and 10 sonic blues ones

The basses are not available for people who didn't sign in for this project.

I don't know if BaCH has concrete plans to make a third run of a NR-Tbird II. And I don';t know if they're actually planning a NR-Tbird IV.
Perhaps Roman can tell more.

I know they are planning to build a Fenderbird.
I have no idea when...

So I get up this morning, and decided to see where my bass was.  I check on USPS, and it's showing that it arrived in Grove City a couple hours ago.  Cool!  It was about mail delivery time, and I opened the door to see if I had a note waiting.  The postman had just pulled up, and was getting out of his car.  Yes!  The package worried me at first - it was bowed at the back, but once I opened it up, no problems!  I pissed off my wife by trying it out real quick on my practice amp.  Nice and fat.  Gotta get dressed and get some strings for this.  What kind are you guys putting on?  Anyone planning on putting the pots and jack in the historically correct placement?

They don't have a US Distributor, what makes you think that one would be any easier to get? And with shipping, it would be just as much as the BaCHbird.

At this point I don't know that they have a bird to sell me all are spoken for, I presume this is in stock. I am mad at myself for taking my name off the list but I was out of work for so long I didn't see a end in sight, I didn't want to have the extra bill hanging over my head.
