I figure it will take some time, but did you get a shipping notification when they shipped your bird?
Also, did your invoice list the color of your bird?

No shipping notification - this is the Czech Republic!    My invoice listed "sonic blue" (they had asked me for my choice of color in a previous email) and that is what I got.

In his new CFO chair, Rob will have to no doubt attend to the shipping department of B&CH. Employing his second language German will help catch some attention among the local workforce.

Yes that's true, but I ASKED THEM 2 TIMES to send me that tracking number. I almost threat them.
Those czechs are good luthiers, but they suck at trading. But I understand them, as a former communist country they have their weaknesses! :D

Nothing a little military rule could not cure. Aren't those deactivated Greek military junta generals rather idle on their lovely prison island?

Most of 'em are free or dead. Useless for our purpose anyway.

edit: the sign of greek junta was the burning phoenix, and greece was always associated with the blue color. Could that be a coincidence? :D :D :D

You know us Yanks, Uwe. We call revolution at the first sign of inconvenience!

Actually, I have faith all the basses will arrive at their intended destinations. The wire thing is just weird for me because (without hearing from Roman) I have no way of knowing if it went through correctly. I guess comparing notes here is easier than each of us stressing about it individually.

 :D :D :D

My wire was sent May 5. My bank called to confirm it went through. I got an e-mail from Roman the next day asking if I was still interested. I told him I had just wired the money. I'm assuming there was some lag with the time zones, etc. Haven't heard anything since, but I'm assuming all is good. I'm an optimist! And my invoice did indicate the color - white. Now I have to go peel the plastic off a pair of TB pups...... Got chrome covers, rings, a Gibson TRC, some CTS pots, and a pickguard tracing from Rob. I guess I need to order some chrome cap knobs.  ;D

So, this morning Roman replied to my email asking if he had received my payment.
Here's what he wrote:

Yes , tks.
Your instrument left us yesterday.
BaCH Music , Czech

I'm pretty excited.

Sounds like things are coming together pretty well, overall.  I emailed Roman a copy of my wire transfer doc after I did the transfer.  Hopefully, that will expedite things a little.

One advice: ALWAYS ask for the tracking number after you pay. It's good to know where's your 'bird.

Yeah, I replied with a request for the tracking number.
Hopefully he'll send it.  If not...  Well, what can we do?
I just hope the bird makes it here.
