I've removed the brown stains on the finish of mine!!! With a little spit'n'polish. Always works wonders with brown stains.

Seriously, this was probably just excess buffing compound that wasn't completely used up in the buffing out process.

Only the really dried on ones, Dave    ;)

Otherwise Uwe's "spit and polish" method works well.

It's funny to go back and see the progression of this thread.
The conversation often strays, but always comes back to the
main BuTTbird, I mean BaCHbird topic.   ;D

Yes, a dirty hole forum, quite right! Skid Mark is to blame for the sharp drop in decorum we are experiencing.

Just got an invoice from Roman!  He's indicating that part of the delay is due to non-payment on a few of the invoices they've already sent out.  I emailed last night, and told him I was ready to pay.  Invoice came today after he replied.

Slowly but surely they're being sent out. They are following through. They must be a smaller operation than I thought, and they really hadn't planned the logistics of sending basses to countries they had not dealt with before.

Pah, they had about two and a half years time to figure that out.  :o ;D

They just never really took it as serious as we did. They only made 20 in the first series because they were sceptical about the whole idea of such a weird "undesirable" bass. Now they're flabbergasted that people all across the globe actually want those things.

I think BaCH is just two people; B & CH
