Hey all...I've been on the BaCHBird waiting list for awhile (I think I'm #46 or 47), but I just today discovered this thread!  I'm glad there's a place to discuss this ka-razy project.  I got an e-mail from Roman a couple of days ago.  Unfortunately for me, I may have really confused him as I'm an American currently living in London but I want BaCH to ship to my USA address.  I haven't heard back from Roman, yet...we'll see how this goes!

It's such a tease!

Roman asked me for my address earlier this week, now nothing

Same here too.

Basvarken, that bass looks great! I hope to have one just like it soon, with late model TB+ pups covered in 70s chrome.  ;D

Gotta figure out the pickguard thing. Has anyone tried an original Gibson 'guard on a Bach yet?

Now we're talking.
Funny to see they've misplaced the jack input and tone knob again. Doesn't even look that wrong on a NRTB II

I really, really hope that Sonic Blue is offered to me.  I suppose, more importantly, I hope that Roman responds to my e-mail...but assuming that happens, I really, really hope that I can get mine in Sonic Blue!

Today I got the tracking number from Roman (I asked him for this), I look to their site and found that the parcel's gone yesterday from Prague, let's find out how fast those czech postmen are.

I've got all the time in the world these days, so I can wait.  And enough basses to keep me busy.  I expect to finally get the Scroll bass in a month or so, and I have most of the parts for my next project bass, which I expect to start by the end of the year.

I just didn't respond. I wasn't on the top 50 list anyway and I have other priorities now.

2 e-mails to Roman...and still no reply.  I'm not really in any hurry, it's just confusing...

I had a Czech guy translate a letter I wrote to Roman, from English to Czech. That was Thursday, still haven't heard a word. So maybe my extra trouble hasn't paid off. Yet. On the other hand it's Easter. Maybe Tuesday? I'm wishing, and hoping. Just like Dusty Springfield once did...

Dav you should put your name on the list. By Czek time you would be 1st,Im sure .  I bet I was in the 1st 20 and have heard  nothing. Its been so long i cant remember. I know I was on it quick when Basvarken  needed 12 or 20 to get them interested. Im in no rush ,just dont want to be forgotten. Not working & way too many project. I like the Blue but will prob do it in inverness green . I like that  color on those old epi's and MM basses. The finish on them looks pretty nice . Are they nitro?
